§ 3-324. Violations of chapter.

  • (a)

    Any person in the classified service violating any of the provisions of this chapter may be dismissed from the classified service.

    (b)

    Any person who shall willfully or corruptly violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, on conviction thereof, be punished as for a misdemeanor prescribed by the laws of Georgia, and if such convicted person be in the classified service, he shall be dismissed therefrom and shall not be eligible for reappointment, reinstatement or reemployment for a period of three (3) years or more, from the date of such conviction.
