§ 8-211. Created; composition.

From and after the first Monday in January, eighteen hundred and ninety-six, a Park and Tree Commission for the City of Savannah is hereby created, to consist of nine commissioners.

Editor's note

Section 4 of the Act of December 23, 1895, provided a procedure for the removal of members of the Park and Tree Commission. The procedure was based on the structure of the city council prior to the council-manager act and is no longer applicable. Therefore it has been omitted.
