§ 8-414. Nature of functions and duties.

The Airport Commission shall be separate and distinct from the Airport Committee of council and, other than named herein, its duties shall be purely administrative and there shall be no delegation of legislative authority from the Mayor and Aldermen to said Commission, and the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah are expressly authorized and empowered to provide by ordinance for all lawful things to be done which may be necessary or incidental to the operation or maintenance of said municipal airports by said Commission, and said Commission shall be considered strictly as an operating agency of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah.
