§ 8-416. Receipt of federal, state, etc., aid.

  • The Airport Commission is given the right to apply for and receive federal funds for any of the purposes provided for under the Federal Airport Act and to enter into any agreements with the Federal Government, particularly grant agreements, necessary under the provisions of said Act in order to become the recipient of federal aid, under such terms and conditions as might be required by the federal government under grant or aid agreements, and also the right under like conditions to receive state aid or grants under such conditions as the state government might prescribe, and shall also have the right to receive contributions from any other source, provided, that the Savannah Airport Commission shall not match any funds for any purpose from any agency without the consent of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah.
