§ 8-319. Plan to co-ordinate industrial enterprises, terminal facilities, etc.

Said authority is authorized to submit a plan or plans to the governing body of the
County of Chatham and/or the City of Savannah to provide that existing and proposed
industrial enterprises; that existing and proposed terminal facilities; that existing
and proposed highway, harbor and rail traffic; all be coordinated to the best possible
advantage in order to encourage industrial growth and expansion, to relieve traffic
congestion and to make more accessible all facilities located within the territory
of the port authority.
Upon the adoption thereof by the governing authority of either the County of Chatham
and/or the City of Savannah, said county and/or city is authorized and empowered to
delegate, and the Savannah Port Authority is authorized and empowered to accept and
use delegations of administrative powers to carry said plan or plans into effect.
